If you want your street fixed, it might take 200 years or more to get it done because the city does not have the money, and the money it has is mostly going to the West Side.
Since 2004, the city has spent $205.4 million on street improvements -- 36 percent has been used on West El Paso, according to a City Council presentation on Tuesday. West El Paso includes council districts 1 and 8.
The issue caused a heated discussion among council members and the city's department of transportation director.
